Get an early start to drive yourself three hours west of Melbourne to get you to Brambuk The National Park & Cultural Centre arriving at 9:30am.

The amazing Grampians National Park (Gariwerd) is a spiritual place rich in Dreaming stories, sacred sites, bush-tucker, water and shelter. It is a place central to the Dreaming of the Djab Wurrung and the Jardwadjali traditional peoples and is home to 90% of the Rock Art sites in Victoria, with some dating back 22,000 years.

 Join Bunjil’s Creation Tour where you will be welcomed by a Traditional Owner of the land and join an Aboriginal guide to learn the local creation story of the Grampians, view the ancient rock art at the resting place of the creator spirit Bunjil, learn about the spiritual significance of the area and finish off with a bush tucker lunch.

The afternoon will be spent hiking the National Park to see the abundant wildlife, waterfalls, rugged rock formations, spectacular views and stunning spring wildflower displays.

There are a range of restaurants and accommodation choices at Halls Gap for your overnight stay including hotels, retreats, holiday houses, motels or caravan parks, or you can stay in a basic yet comfortable private room at Brambuk Backpackers.

Day 2: Six Seasons Tour with Brambuk The National Park & Cultural Centre

Join a guided tour to learn ancient practices, see a variety of ancient rock art and view the Park from the some of the best vantage points. Enjoy a bush tucker lunch and after lunch enjoy some free time to browse the comprehensive displays at the cultural centre, learn about the six seasons of Gariwerd, and view the Dreamtime creation story of the area.

Head off early in the afternoon to drive yourself for three hours back to Melbourne in time for dinner.
